How to vote - London Chinatown

GetActive.UK.com will launch a special roadshow in London Chinatown this week to encourage Chinese voters to take part in the local election on May 1st 2008.
DATE: Sun 27/04/2008 TIME: 12-4pm LOCATION: Stone Lions, London Chinatown ADDRESS: Gerrard St (Off Macclesfield Street) Representatives from all three major parties, including Chinese candidates for the coming elections will be in attendance and sound out their policies. Volunteers of GetActive.UK.com will be on hand to show Chinese voters how to vote on the election day. Special Chinese guides about the election will also be available at the roadshow. Spectrum Radio Chinese Community Network will broadcast the event on 558AM as well as on their internet service on 558.net. The BC Register to Vote event forms part of the Get Active UK campaign 2008 – a collaboration between the BC Project, Confederation of Chinese Associations UK, the London Chinatown Chinese Association, Christine Lee and the CY (Chinese Youth) Radio Project to encourage active citizenship by the UK Chinese population.
